How many wins will the Suns manage in 2024?

I have tried to figure this out by going through the fixture and tipping each game. I have given the Suns the bare minimum number of wins we should expect, all the home games we should be favourites for and the easy away wins. That gets them to just 9 wins. The trouble is the back end of the season is quite tough and I find it hard to pick many wins in that stretch. Maybe the Bombers and Tigers in Melbourne or maybe the Power at home? Its hard to see us winning those in preseason. Who knows what we will look like 2 or 3 months from now.

I think the Suns could manage 12 or 13 wins if things really go well but I am not feeling overly confident at the moment. 9-12 wins feels right to me which puts us outside of finals contention most likely. The ones in bold are the must-win games that will keep fans sane and the underlined ones are 50/50 ones for me. Looking at it now if the we can only manage wins vs the Roos and the Eagles in the last 11 games that would leave a real sour taste in everyone’s mouths. Ideally by then the players will have got used to the new gameplan and we’ll be humming along nicely.
